Cape Lambert to support critical rail operations within a highly active export supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senior operational and engineering leaders were accountable for delivering a facility that could safely, reliably, and efficiently integrate complex fuel handling, mechanical, electrical, fire, and control systems\u2014without disrupting ongoing operations and while meeting stringent safety, environmental, and compliance standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objective was to design, construct, test, and commission a fully operational refuelling and servicing facility, capable of seamless integration into RTIO\u2019s live rail and port environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge \/ Need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project presented a convergence of high\u2011risk constraints:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development of a locomotive refuelling facility with complex mechanical, electrical, and process systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integration of advanced instrumentation,
