This agreement marked a significant shift in AFL broadcasting, as it ended the long-standing exclusive arrangement with the <strong>Seven Network<\/strong> and introduced a shared arrangement between <strong>free-to-air (Ten and Nine)<\/strong> and <strong>pay-TV (Foxtel)<\/strong> broadcasters. The goal was to create a highly resilient, scalable, and secure data centre to support AFL&#8217;s diverse operations.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Project Value<\/strong><\/td><td>$12m<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Project Start and Finish<\/strong><\/td><td>June 2001 &#8211; Jan 2002<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Strategic Objective<\/strong><\/td><td>AFL faced the challenge of outdated data infrastructure that struggled to accommodate the league&#8217;s growing digital demands.
