{"id":243,"date":"2017-01-28T11:31:19","date_gmt":"2017-01-28T11:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.q3ed.com\/?page_id=243"},"modified":"2024-12-14T17:55:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-14T06:55:09","slug":"charles-sturt-uni-hubcentral-fitout","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/murrayslatter.me\/?page_id=243","title":{"rendered":"Empowering the Brightest minds lead the future &#8211; Charles Sturt Uni"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With a strategic focus of improving the functionality and atmosphere within the ageing HUBCentral, the University engaged Qfactor to project manage the upgrade of the HUBCentral including a complete fitout of the space, and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Working with the nominated architect, specialist engineering firms and technology providers Qfactor managed the solution upgrade.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Departmental approvals and review by all stakeholder groups on the practical implementations and operations of the facility and the execution impacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the Execution plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the overall program plan for review and approval of the client.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stakeholder management planning working with all 104 staff to ensure that the works could complete in normal business hours without impact on the function of the property.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>QFACTOR\u2019 RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Design<\/strong> for the design project the team consisted of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Client assigned Architectural consultancy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specialist technology consultancies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mechanical,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lighting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IT Consultancy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networks and Networks Security consultants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interior designer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Construction <\/strong>for the Construction project the team will consist of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 x Project Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Construction Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Demolition contractor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Fit out contractor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 x Functional contractors including\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IT specialist contractors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networks and Networks security contractors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specified suppliers Evacuation systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance service contractors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Electrical contractor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Quality Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x Commissioning team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Project was completed with 4,000 hrs with ZERO LTI and 0 x FAI<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With a strategic focus of improving the functionality and atmosphere within the ageing HUBCentral, the University engaged Qfactor to project manage the upgrade of the HUBCentral including a complete fitout of the space, and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems.
